Our winery tours are the perfect getaway from city noise to Yarra Valley. This magical wine destination has been producing some world-class wines for over 160 years and can be reached just below an hour’s scenic drive from Melbourne. Explore vineyards, meet passionate winemakers, and discover what makes Yarra Valley red, sparkling and white wines truly exceptional.
Begin your day of indulgence with the flavours of handcrafted chocolate at Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery. Enter a world of Australian chocolate making where you’ll be taken through the journey from cocoa beans to tasting finished chocolates. Meet their expert chocolatiers or take a bite on one of their newest creations!
We have also allowed free time in Healesville, with the option of having lunch (at your own expense) in any of the many cafes and restaurants available here. Visit numerous small shops offering artisan products as well as exclusive souvenirs. Optional visits to distilleries and a bunch of craft breweries are available for those who need more information about the region’s offerings, for example: Four Pillars Gin Distillery, Matilda Bay Brewery or Alchemy Distillers.
Then continue your journey through picturesque Yarra Valley, stopping off at selected wineries renowned for producing outstanding cool climate wines: St Huberts, Medhurst Wines, Yering Farm Wines and/or Stefani Estate, Helen & Joey’s Estate. Here we can taste Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and many sparkling wines. As you feel the true taste of the wines, be sure to enjoy the magnificent scenery of surrounding grapevines. Every winery has its own guided tour which could include an explanation on wine-making techniques among other things that are unique about Yarra Valley wines!
